Ben, that is one awesome Argon laser! I tried to build an Argon ion laser from scratch 20 years ago. The glassblowing was too difficult in the end. Then I realized that good ones had a ceramic tube with the electromagnet to squeeze the plasma for high beam density. At that point I gave up. It would have cost me $30,000.00 at the time for a Spectra-Physics. I also like the Argon-Krypton multi-lines that can hit all the colors of the rainbow. Someone buy this beauty from Ben. It's a steal!

The magnet isn't for giving it a nicer beam, it's to stop the plasma from wearing down the tube as much.

I'm surprised you haven't sold this yet Ben,

Ill give you $20 shipped. Naa, but really, I don't think that I have ever seen an argon with such little runtime for so cheap. Good luck

Yes, I have heard that it saves the tube.

You know you want it! I pack VERY well! Shipping is not too bad going there as long as the head and power supply are in different boxes. I pay for the first $50 of shipping.

$525 shipped if you buy in the next 24 hours. That means it ends 8PM PST 5/14 and returns to the previous price!

Don't want to create any work for you, but could we see a smoke beam pic or multiline spiit/prism pic? I imagine you are already busy with the cth:yag rod pumped with nitride leds.

Yeah, I will take one for you tomorrow. Now is not a good time, sleep deprivation and lasers do not go together :D

Yeah, I understand. Looking at scratched/burned LPM sensors makes me ill too. ;-)
