Hi. This is the laser that i tried to sell before, but no one would buy it cause it had no diode.
I just had a 16x diode installed in it,and jake21 measured the laser out at 150mw. The only problem is there is no lens. This laser also has a GTID (Glow in the dark) Tail cap so at night you can see the laser if you cant find it.I just Recently applied a new coat of chrome paint so it looks better. All the laser needs is a new lens. I will include 2 new CR123 Energizer Lithium for free. Shipping is also included with this laser for the usa, outside usa ask me.
Time for the super Awesome pics now

No lens? You'd probably have more chance of selling it if you just bought a cheap one and threw it in :)

For the sake of people who may not have read the previous thread I think it should be linked here:
http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1217176199

Anyone who is considering buying this should make their own decisions on whether or not they trust wesdaman and want to business with him... It's worth reading his reputation page (click the "-1" by his name,) as a lot of people have expressed dislike/distrust against him in the past.

My personal opinion is that he's a rude little prick, though he seems genuine in trying to sell this laser... The parts alone cost more than $35, and with the addition of a $3 lens this might be the ideal starter laser for someone.

I'm only really posting this since wes decided to create another thread to avoid the criticism he got in the last one... I think being able to take criticism and admit to your mistakes is a lesson he really should learn, and I urge anyone considering this deal to do a little research on this wes character and then make your own opinions to base your purchasing decisions on.

Yes People please don't buy from me. I'm a little prick and you will never get your laser. I have only sold 1 laser to a member on here, and that was Phoenix77. Why donut you ask him how the purchase went. He'll tell you how horrible it was. Please Phoenix77 Read this thread and reply so the whole world can see how much i messed up and everything i try fails to be done correctly. I was Successful on eBay,Till my damn Supplier Could not supply me with goods. Thats when i started receiving bad complaints and bad feedback on eBay. You Have got to be Patient people. I'm a Very nice guy,but all these eBay members came at me with a attitude, and i picked it up. so thats why i am also getting pissed cause no one is ever God D*** Happy in this world. i should of never even put my laser for sale. i knew it would not sell cause it looks ugly, and it has no lens. Thanks and you'll never see me trying to sell a laser again. I promise.

Well that was a nice, clear, reasoned response. You cannot "run away from" your reputation. You carry your character with you wherever you go. You cannot "undo" what has been done. You can only learn and make it better. Disassemble it and fix it, give it to someone who will, or keep it forever, so that later, it is a reminder of how far you have come. I thought GooeyGus offered to help?

Peace,
dave

I think Wes would be a trustworthy guy to buy from. He is pretty nice and this would be a really good deal for someone that wants to fix up the laser. Might take a bit of super glue or something but it wouldn't be too difficult to put a lens on.

To any & all readers, I DID do a deal with WES not too long ago & it went FLAWLESSLY. Wes went way further than he needed to, to make sure that the deal came off without a hitch. If I had $35.00 , I'd have no qualms about buying it from him ;) I also would have no problem doing business with him again in any other situation. IMHO WES is a GOOD GUY who is just having a run of bad luck right now, but if you give him a chance, I'm sure he'll make things right with you. Just give the guy a chance & some time to do it.(THOSE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULD NOT THROW STONES) Is everyone else out there perfect, never made mistakes, I know I'm not in that category, & I'm pretty sure most of you aren't either. That said, I'll shut up now :-X phoenix77/rob

No it was clean as can be. i tried sanding it,but it was un even,as the black paint i used original was not ment for metal, and it was very stickey and would not come off,so thats why its uneven. But who cares ? Its a Laser ;D and its going to be in your hand,or in a tripod :)

chrome paint don't look good unless the original surface was polished. and they still don't use chrome paint,as it will be un even. they like dye the aluminum chrome so it looks flawless. my other 250mw laser for sale is chrome when i bought it.

REAL chrome is a metal itself called Chromium. its used as an outer coating on steel to make it "stainless" as it never rusts and is extremely hard. the chrome you're thinking of is nothing more than polished aluminum or nickel plating.

Chrome plating is very corrosion resistant, but it is the chromium outer layer that is a nearly clear layer of a multi layer process. The shiny metal color is the layer of nickel just under the chromium. FYI
