Hey guy! I need cash so my burning build needs to go!

Purchased about a year ago here from weidmark:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/fs-1-9w-445nm-guidesman-58963.html

1.9w 445nm Guidesman. Made with two flexdrives each set at 900mA and heatsinked to a coin. When I purchased this it was proved at 1.9W, but that's been about a year, and if I had to guess, I have put about 15-20 hours on it max. It still look just as bright as the day I bought it, burns just as good too.

I also have documenteds that it's making a "whine" sound, which I made a post about in the 445nm section. It was explained to me that it was the Driver's inductor, and that it was nothing to worry about.

http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/odd-whine-coming-1-9-watt-445nm-guides-man-67522.html

I am including a bran new Hi-Draw Battery, charger, and safety glasses if you need them(i'd like to keep them if you don't, since I still have a Spartan)

The only thing I changed since I got it from weidmark is I am using a G1 lens with a J-Rob modified aperture to boost the power and point just a bit more.

Asking $200

The Laserglow Glasses and tri-pod are not included.

I'm actually not going to offering a LPM on this laser. I think members should understand that this laser has had a lot of use on it, and it should/could be diminished from it's original output, Hence the price. The Laser is being sold As-is with a guarantee of no DOA. But I'm not going to promise a specific output since I don't have a LPM myself, and I'm not going to do a back and forth if the 3d party states it's 1,600mW an the buyer backs down. It's a Powerful dual driven handheld, at $200 it's worth the price and almost half the original output. You can check the sale's thread I liked to for the video confirming the original 1,900mW output from weidmark.

You should really get this laser LPMed.

I have put about 15-20 hours on it max. It still look just as bright as the day I bought it, burns just as good too.

15-20 hours for a pointer that's used 1-2 minutes at a time is A LOT of use. If the diode is degrading slowly, you would not notice a marked difference from one use to the next, unless it was a significant drop.

There is also the off chance that your laser is over 2W since you upgraded the lens.

If you ship this to me in Los Angeles, I'd LPM it for you free with my radiant alpha meter. If it was in fact at least a 1.9W laser with the G1 I'd probably buy the thing :D

Re: 1,900mW 445nm Blue Laser F/S

You do need some kind of money back guarantee at 1.7+ - if the thing is degraded to the point it puts out 1.3W or less (which does happen), you could just buy a new Yobresal at under 2/3 the price and be done with it.

That's why a 3rd party metering is nice- it's a sort of guarantee. Like I said, if you shipped it to me and it meters above 2W, I WILL BUY IT! :D IF not, I'll send you a video showing the output on a radiant alpha. Heck, anything above 1.9w I'd buy.

No way, with on 43 post's I'm not sending you my laser to play with with-out paying. Those are the terms, if you don't like it, move on. The pictures and video show that the beam is strong, and it's established that it was true at 1.9W at completion of the build because it came from a veteran/trusted member. If someone is not comfortable with my terms, that's fine, I'm not making you buy it. Please PM me if you wish to inquire further, longer threads in the BST tend to discourage potential buyers.

I know that in just new parts alone it would be a good deal. I wasn't actually suggesting the use of a middle man to LPM during a sale, more along the lines of maybe send it to someone you trust to LPM and hold on to, and send on it's way to the buyer, once there is a buyer. As it is, you really can't say that it's a 1.9W laser, it could be a 2.2W laser or it could be a 1.2W laser. Since you put in a g1 lens, and it did 1.9W without one... well even a yob c6 will do 1.5W with a g1 lens most of the time.

It was tested at 1.9W with the G1-405, though it did not have the custom aperture. That feature should not change the output significantly at all, but it will mostly effect the dot/line.

Sorry, must have misread the Weidmarks original FS thread... I thought it did 1.9W without a g1 lens... which would be VERY impressive imo.

Part of the reason I've been stalking the thread, I kind of like freak diodes:p
