Ive decided to sell my much loved projector to purchase a single green unit. This was my very first proper projector and has had a lot of TLC go into it over the years. Its in full working condition.
Ill start with the spec –
Dt40 scanners modded by Bill at Pangolin and tuned by Rob (stanwax) at the last meet, so they are running extremely well. Bill does a special mod to dt40 scanners to make them run better.
500mw 532nm lasever green analogue modulation
350mw 635nm lasever red analogue modulation
80mw 473nm lasever blue analogue modulation
500mw 660nm home made dual red analogue modulation using die4laser driver
300mw 405nm home made dual purple analogue modulation using die4laser driver
The home made red uses open can diodes and the diodes are fully insulated for protection. The home made 405 uses AW21 diodes again fully insulated and lasorbs attached. Both dual set ups use standard aixiz plastic lens.
Beams -
the green has a fantastic beam
the 635 has a very big beam, its a stnadard sized beam from any 635 really. the dual 660 has a good beam spec
the 473nm has a good beam although it is a split beam till warmed up
the dual 405 have a good beam
Optics –
The bounce mirrors are 99% front surfaced mirrors, all cubes are from Laserwave, the 650 and 473 dichros are from Edmund optics and the 405 dichro is from Laserwave.
Case –
The case is a custom made case, made of steel. the case has two levels one for lasers and optics and the other for psu’s. The bottom section houses the psu’s and is cooled by fans, but there are no fans on the top section to prevent dust. All psu and lasers are mounted on 6mm thick aluminium boards for heat sinking purposes.
The whole projector is supported by a very very strong arm, which has been custom made to fit the tripod, which is included in the sale, the stand extends to well over head height.
This is a used projector and the case does have some scrapes on it, but its poorly cosmetic, there are no dents in the casing.
this projector is currently wired for three colours so it can be run from any DAC. but if someone has a qm2000 i am happy to rewire so each colour can be controlled seperatly.
Price
Ive no idea how much its worth, done some research and think its worth £3000 but this could be a little high.
So ill ask for £3000 and say open to sensible offers
sale package -
laser projector
stand
power cable
if any one has any questions please let me know.
