I used a 1,2W of same host build by Yobresal.
It has a copper heatsink so duty cycle is quite enough.
This one is much powerful. What about the duty cycle?
Have you tried that for over 1minute? How hot does it get?

Anyone know how difficult it would be to add focusability to this laser? (don't have really any experience modding)

It is already focusable. You could add a new focus adapter by just screwing the old off and a new one in.

But I already asked the seller, and he replied that it wasn't focusable...


EDIT: But yeah, if this is focusable, I'm interested, as mentioned in my PM. Can the seller clarify, please?

Sure looks like it is. Didn't he say DTR built it? Shoot DTR a PM. He might know better. :)

I think this is legit, but I would also say there are enough little things wrong with this sale to try someone else.

Have you looked at the Survival Lasers kits here on the forum. They are easy to put together, reasonably priced and well made. Plus you get a forum discount.

Thats without a doubt DTR's work. The empty Marlboro boxes on the coffee table is signature DTR. How do you think he gets those thick bright beam shots.....lol
