Ok, I have finally made up my mind...

I will have to sell my first ever 445nm laser made by me :cryyy:
I didn't want to part with it but I need money fast, so I am selling things..

The laser is pretty much unused.. It's total use time is less than an hour...

check out my thread for details here - 445nm laser

I am giving it away with 3 fully charged Trust Fire Protected Batteries 16340
total use 1 cycle!

The host can be disassembled and run off 2 batteries for less power.
ah I almost forgot the price: I will be wanting $250 for this. (NOW $210)

Can't include goggles because I only have 1 pair and their frame is kinda crappy :D
no charger either because I use my own.

here are some photos from today:

the length is 19cm, 7.5inch..

the power is somewhere around that, I am driving it at 1.67A which should be more than 1.5W if it's good efficiency, but even if it's low it should be very close to that power.. I don't have a LPM to measure it exactly :cryyy::cryyy:

it could be more, but I don't think it will be less... (someone correct me if I am wrong here, DTR?)

If I get this, what kind of battery charger do I need? Give me a link please.
Also, do i use the same type of battery("disassemble and run off 2 batteries") if I want it to run with low power?

I'll definitely buy it if it is true 1.5w.

the charger could be any 3.7Li-Ion battery charger I will give you link in a few moments for example..

the host can even be used with 1 battery (I forgot to mention that in the OP)
but It's very low power then :D and yes you use the same batteries that I will supply with it... you can use 1 2 or 3 of them.

I am waiting for confirmation of DTR who is selling these diodes he can say what the power could be at that current for sure, on other tests I have found that when running at ~1.57A you can get 1.5W so I should be somewhere there...

wait for the link in a few minutes

here are some examples of 16340 (and others) battery chargers

if you buy from DX, make sure you read the reviews and comments on the product before you buy... this one seems good

TrustFire TR-001 Multi-Purpose Lithium Battery Charger - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

AC Battery Charger for 2*18650/17670/18490/17500/16340/17335/14430/14500/10440 (100V~240V/US Plug) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

these are just examples, you can see ebay or local stores for other Li-Ion chargers, be sure to get one that charges 3.7V(4.2V) batteries, not (3V)3.6V

EDIT: I may not be available after 5pm. now it's 3.41pm. and I am at work. I am usually here at around 10pm again so if anything comes up I will reply then. ;)

Well you can't say for sure unless you test it on a LPM. These diodes do very quite a bit from diode to diode. With an Aixiz lens I have seen them from 1.2W-1.5W @ 1.5A. Most falling right in middle.

Just add about 170mW to my estimates.:D Also I had seen 1.57A in one of your previous posts and I always round down. It is just a habit.
