No, I am not using the focusing ring, but thanks for the advice. That might come in handy for another build.

This thread just gets better and better! The last time I visited it was when you were just ordering your 6x for the laser, but hadn't received it yet.
The pictures are amazing.

...too bad Jay doesn't make a kit for it...

Could be a possibility! He did tell me to go ahead and make a kit for his design if I wanted to...

The only thing that I am hesitant about, is since I don't sell complete lasers, the builder would have to assemble it correctly for it to be water tight.

So I worry that people may end up with a small leak, and then blame the maker of the kit is all.

The seals are very good on the host. The main two areas of concern, would be the o-ring at the glass lens (getting the right pressure on this o-ring without breaking the glass), and of course the silicone tail cap being tight and sealing good...

Just saw this thread...
Good work :)
A long time ago I made a waterproof >100mW green Galileo. I'm actually making another waterproof green at the moment. Just waiting on parts.
Keep up the good work!

Dear iskor12, I'd like to try to build one like that (then the swimming pool, I start with the smallest thing ;-) one at a time) could you tell me wich configuration you have chosen and which actual current the FlexDrive delivers?
Thanks for your help

Jay, Thanks for you help in answering the comments above. I honestly thought that this thread had died. Good thing for the user cp.

Thanks everyone for all of the complements.

As for the questions....I will try to get to them in the next day or so. I am very busy right now.

Thanks again all....

Umm.....Well....Everything is on a post earlier in this thread. I will look it up.:)

Update:
SF-AW210 diode (I recomend the GGW @200mA over this diode)
FlexDrive
405-G-1
210mA
182mW after glass lense

PM Me if you have any other questions:)
