So hey guys, i read the build threads and i have some questions about blu-ray lasers.

Will it be cheaper to buy it from a user or make it? I currently don't own a soldering iron. I don't have any parts, i don't want to build it unless its gonna be really cheaper (no experience). Is anyone selling a blu-ray laser ready to use? Sorry that im new to building lasers. Would it be possible to build it for $30-45 ?

I would be more than happy to build you one, I would just need a week to have the funds to order all the parts.

And what kind of power do you want? Cause the only thing that changes in cost is the diode. phr- about 100mW= $15 6x- about 200mW= $20-30 12x- about 500-my820mW 12x= $50

You could build one for the price IF you had the tool and equipment. Usually the first build can more costly because of "errors".

If you're looking to buy one from a member start a "WTB" thread in the B/S/T section. :beer:

Yes, the first build is always most expensive. Especially if you have to buy a soldering iron, solder, flux, wire, etc etc etc etc

Ok thanks guys. I currently don't have a job because of some complications . But i earn money online. I think i will buy one and not build one. Because i might mess up or something, and i don't want to buy all the equipment. Im only gonna have about $30-40 . Hopefully i can get any burning laser.
