12x diode, $50
fun with killing it, priceless

I run mine at 367mA which gives me 500mW power. Enough power for me. I have already killed two 12x diode at high current.

I really enjoyed the gradual increase and focus clips. It inspires me to purchase one of those variable power source deals.

yeah, they are pretty handy ... be sure to get one with a constant current and constant voltage options :) ... there some cheaper ones with Constant Voltage only .. but you don't want that I am sure :D

I am not sure, it was around 500mA I think. Maybe the diodes gets improvement in time. It was more than a year ago.

I wonder what the 12x BDR-205 diodes can handle... in the 12X STICKY
there are people running them at 500mA and above and still live(the diodes) :D:D:D??

are they better than the BDR-S06J ...

They don't say how many diodes are wasted to get the one with 500mA. :D
Like the first scene with the babies in the movie 300 at 1 min.
