I found this on ebay, it's a 200mW blu-ray diode in a aixiz module as far as i can tell. Is this a scam or legit, this will be my first blu-ray laser so I am looking for a good deal. Thanks.

By his own Specifications....
There is no way to get 200mW from a Blu-Ray LD with only 135ma of current..

This is most likely an Overdriven PHR803T with a life expectancy of only seconds at 200mW...IMO

Haha, oh well, guess I have to do it the hard way. I thought I could skip putting the diode into a module cuz thats what i'm afraid of doing. Damn things are so fragile.

There are members here that will sell you a complete module
with the LD already installed...

Go to the B/S/T (Buy/Sell/Trade) section and do a little research
there...

There are members who will even sell you the driver hooked up to the diode in the module, all you supply is current.

I'm getting a 190mw bluray for ~$200 from a member on this forum. I'm waiting on it as we speak (type) I think that's a pretty darn good deal personally. Of course, I don't know how (yet) to make my own. Once I do, I think I'll be getting the kits from other members that do exactly what YGG is saying.
