They are pretty much the same thing to me but I just want to know if it will burn like a 200mw laser.

blue and violet look the same to you? They sure don't to me.
Anyway, it will burn like a 200mW laser if it turns out to be a 200mW laser.

Blu-ray is known to be one of the best burning wavelengths. It would burn better than a 200mW green laser.

200mW green lasers still burn very well, it's just that they aren't focused as tight as blu-rays can be for short distances. I use an external lens on my 220mW laser, and it burns great!

Thats really all I want to know is that if it is a 200mW laser or just says it is but is really less.

Then I suggest you to buy a build one yourself or to buy a built unit from someone here. A GGW built will be up to 200$+, but it's your best option for that kind of laser.

Mohrenberg offers very competitive prices for really good builds. Jayrob and IgorT offer the best lasers you'll ever find but I have to say that the prices are not cheap.
For the 178$ you were gonna spend on rayfoss, I'd go for one of these. I recommend you to directly send a private message to them. Just tell them that you want a cheap 200mW blu-ray laser and wait a couple of days for the answers.
If you buy the parts and build it yourself (which I ensure you to be easy) you can easily build it for far under 180$

I suggest you get your eyes checked by a professional and purchase
a pair of Laser Safety Goggles... BEFORE you get any Laser of that
power range so that you don't damage your eyes any further....

I already own goggles I was just saying that I pretty much want a violet or blue laser pointer of 200mW. See I really want to have all three colors of pointers I currently have a 200mW red and green and would like to complete my collection. :san:. At least for 200mW's then I'll go on to lower powers.
