question about an 80mw 405nm laser

Guys is the beam of the 80mw 405nm laser visible during day and night??

i got one from boblaser <-- another freebie, yet still it is like the first one they gave me... focus is bad,,, and not visible...'

Just look at the picture.

405nm is even less visible than 650nm , so its quite normal that you cant see a beam ;-]

Thats strange my 6x (180ma with 405-gi lens) is ALOT brighter then my lcc (400ma with 405-gi lens).

Everyone in my family says that the blueray is brighter and my phr (115ma) is brighter then the red one too.

Strange :/

so is there a possibility if i replace the diode of this laser changed it to phr and had its current set to 180ma maybe in a case, the laser pen will emit a brighter beam

range is saying that your laser is fine right now! 80mw is not going to be visible with out fog/smoke at night only. it would be a waste of money if you put a phr in.

And even if you do get a phr, do not set it to 180ma!

okie... i guess now i know the thing.. heehe i will try to save the phr for future use instead..
