PHR diode with this....?

Hi guys I'm really noob at lasers here and I was wondering if this - New 405nm 100-300mw Laser Diode Driver 2.7-3.7V Reverse - eBay (item 220700437343 end time Dec-22-10 05:26:46 PST) could work with a PHR 803T diode. I read the laser diy page where it tells the basic things for a diode, but I was wondering if I need a resistor, capacitator, or whatever else if I am to build my first laser module.

Dang, PHR? Haven't heard that in a while...

That driver should work, you only need 90-110mA to run a PHR. The ad doesn't mention output current, so you might want to e-mail them and ask first.
The quality is probably suspect too, looks like the same driver the $9 e-bay bluray uses.

Funny, that looks EXACTLY like the 9 dollar ebay pen's driver....for PHR, unless you need the driver to be really really compact, an LM317 does the trick nicely. And they are pretty inexpensive.
