Yes, even the closeup pic of the warning label says it's a 532nm laser and not a 405nm. Although $58.85 for a 200mw green isn't bad at all.

Neither have I, but the close up pick does clearly show that it is a green laser. Hmm. Either way, that's a great price if it is 200mW.

Plus the picture of the Box that it comes in says green laser on it!!

sometimes they do that cause it closely resembles the one that is offered

I see the concern, but I stand by that company. :)

Please search the forum for just a few minutes before creating a duplicate thread. If you look around the forum for a little bit you will see that there is already a full thread about this very laser in the deals and discounts section. I purchased the laser as a guinee pig. The laser's construction is solid. It has an adjustable focus. The power is around 80mW the wavelength is 405nm. The current can be modified but good luck getting the laser put back together.

Sorry....Here's the link everyone. The only bad part about this thread is that you bought the laser from a diferent company. So, in all reality, this one might be different. Focal price.com isn't the same as Kaidomain.

It's kind of like how o-like sells the same laser as the KD50. It turns out they have different outputs, but yet their the same model.

This is a good point. I remember buying the 100mW pen style newwish lasers from DX before they bent over for paypal. They were actually around 100mW where as the focalprice ones are more like 50mW. Going by the last 200mW green laser that I purchased from Kaidomain in pretty much the very same housing only green instead of violet I would say the output will be half or less or rated output as that was the case for me. The thing is some sites specialize in lasers and they test the lasers and actually have good quality control whilst others just sell a bunch of cheap shit and don't test anything.
O-like & Rayfoss sell cheap lasers but they offer the specs based on their testings rather than blindly posting what the manufacturer tells them they are buying. Kaidomain, Dealextreme, and focalprice sell cheap lasers but they don't test them. They simply post whatever it is the manufacturer says it is. Hense the reason they will have a violet laser call it 532nm and have no clue that there is a problem until one of their customers points it out.
By the way, I am only mentioning o-like and ayfoss because they fall under the category of cheap lasers. There are plenty other places you can get good quality lasers without having to question every time a new product comes out whether it is going to be up to spec or not.
It seems like ever since the DILDA came out everyone is looking for the next dilda. A cheap alternative to a DIY that is up to spec and less than cost. I hope that someone eventually gets one of these that is up to spec but it's a game of chance and the odds aren't in our favor with these sites.
