I'm adding more info at the moment

I googled the drive the famous drive that Geeks.com was selling, and I found some more results. Here are a couple of sites that I found that sell the same drive, these are for when geeks.com runs out of the drives.

If you find a site, post it here and I'll add it to the list!

The Sites:

Star Surplus, $19.50
http://www.starsurplus.com/viewitem.lasso?i=BLK-SD-H802A-DO-R

Pacific Geek, $24.99
http://www.pacificgeek.com/product.asp?id=87417&C=200&S=976

This one requires you to fax in papers, so not so good
Evertek, $15.50, ~$13 in quantities of 10+

Re: PHR-803T for $15?

I just tried to make an account with them, they require some resale documents w/ the state :(

" I will FAX a copy of my State issued Resale License to 760-859-3155 [and if in California, I will also fax a completed copy of our California - Blanket Certificate of Resale (Click link to print copy)]

Note: Your account cannot be activated until we receive your FAX of ALL required documents."

I just looked into getting a Texas license and maybe it is possible but I don't want to deal with the IRS too much.

A "Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit Number (must contain 11 digits)" is required for the license which I don't have.

looks no good unless anyone has one of those license's. geeks.com is still our best supplier for these at the moment.

Thanks for trying, so it looks like this site isn't much use for use, unless all of the other companies run out and somebody runs a GB for these. I have a few more sites that sell these so I'll switch the name of the topic and post them.

that would be sweet :) but I seriously doubt he has the resellers license. I've talked to him about his business before but that was a while ago, maybe he has grown too big now and had to fill out all the paperwork & bureaucratic stuff.

I think you have to order for at least $1000 at al sites.
I actually got accepted to evertek: Your application to order from Evertek has been approved. Welcome Aboard!

But this has no use for me; I'm not going to order for $1000 an the shipping is far to expensive for me! :(

OT: Hey, styro - I am a pyro enthusiast as well. I tend to keep that habit under a bit better control than this laser thing, though. I'll build a few gerbs, a couple of batches of strobes, modify the heck out of my 4th of july consumer products, make up enough sticky match and fuse it all for max effect. But the BIG fun is over. I keep a really low profile nowadays. 911 and the legislation that arose from it makes it just too hard to be an unlicensed amateur easily. Cripes. Ya gotta shoot it the day you build it. Almost impossible.
