Nice diodes. They are brand new with long leads, they have nice specs... but $80 is way too expensive. I'd rather stick with a harvested BR from a phr sled for 1/10 the cost and half the power....

Nothing new, im willing to bet its a 6x, though still expensive. Their cheaper at dark lasers.

Well, Nichia makes incredible diodes, so the price is slightly justified. These would be right from the factory, and not rejects or harvests. They also make blue diodes, but those are a tad bit more ($2000 each if 50 are ordered). I'm not saying more power for cheaper isn't good, or that our regular diodes are bad, but if you want guaranteed quality, go Nichia.

Wow, guess he doesnt have a very good rep, i didn't read anything about that sorry, I ordered a heatsink from him in the past and it seemed fine and came on time....
