I just noticed and came here to post about it. Apparently he has you on moderated status (I can see them before they are "approved"). Did he send you a PM about "sales" threads? That is usually the reason he does this.

Both the posting from three hours ago and from one hour ago are sitting there "waiting."

A couple of days ago, I PM'd him and asked about a banner like Kenom has and he wanted $35 bucks a month!

So I just posted a normal FS thread in the BST section...

Is that not allowed?

Anyway, the post about the graph has nothing to do with a sale. It was in the middle of an existing thread and just showing information. So I really don't understand how all of this makes sense. My other posts don't disappear...

Maybe he is having a problem with the LPF links in the posts. Just like the links to there are turned into "spammer" in posts here, he may be stopping the cross forum "advertising."

The new post is up for now. Just like last time, but then they disappeared. So if it stays, yes please delete the others.

P.S. He did tell me that it is ok to post links to LPF, so I added you readings post to my information for comparison. I really believe that they are the same diodes! (just different sleds)

i sent drlava a pm about testing one of these for me too. he said he would but when i asked for his address...well he still hasnt replied yet. results from your graph are looking good jay!

ive got 2 of these sitting here waiting on a lifetime test... ;D

Jay - I HATE to tell you this, but you are WRONG, my friend. The diode is YOURS ! It ceased to be mine once I asked to send it to you for testing - any other agreement would be just pissy !

The diode is yours to test, blow up, etc - I would like to see what the limits are, and Hemlock Mike has been asked to provide some more info in regards to this sled as well - PUMP IT UP MAN ! WOOT !

Seriously, drive the crap outta it - it's YOURS, and if it dies, I WILL get at least a replacement for you to make up for me making you kill it

Well let's see, I have a strong feeling that this diode is the same as Dave's 8X. (different sleds, same diode) His measurements are the same as mine...

Dave is torturing his at 365mA's and getting over 500mW's with the 405-G-1 lens mod!

Now, I could easily just keep turning it up until it dies, or we could set it at a certain current and do a longevity test. Personally, I hate to kill such a nice diode. Even if it was a gift...

how high does a adjustable rkcstr driver go ? im using 2x rechargeable cr123 batts but my rkcstr driver is as fare as it can turn and running great with the same diode jay has

Jay, I am so excited to see the results of your testing... if this is the same diode as the one in the BDR-203BK sled, I am going to buy like 10 of them. And thank you SenKat for sacrificing such a nice sled for the community! I'm pretty sure that everybody, along with me, wants to see this diode pushed to the death (though I guess putting it that way sounds a little cruel [smiley=evil.gif] ;D).
