Hey, I noticed this forum on the web recently and absolutely had to join! I am looking for a strong burning laser. I looked around online and saw the Arctic 3 and it seemed to be pretty neat, but I have heard of more power than that. If there is anyone who would like to build me one, I would like to discuss the different options to make a super high powered burn laser.

This is something that has always interested me, and now that i have some extra money I would like to pursue it!

:thanks:

:lasergun: I want it to do that! lol

In addition to it being a strong beam out of box, I would also like a nice focusing lens to make the beam uber powerful!

Welcome to the LPF forum. Jerry will give you an official welcome. :)

Just buying a strong laser isn't enough. You must have goggles and understand the danger of lasers.

hmm...what is a better idea? I mean I would like to spend anywhere between 100-300 bucks. The arctic is 1W laser and it's what? like 300?

Believe me I understand the risk of lasers, I have owned quite a few of them. Just wanted to get something a little more powerful, instead of bright!

I can sell you a 12X with a 405-G2 lens, outputs 520mw, for $150 shipped. Will include batteries and a ~50mw green pen.

Alright, So, basically I think I have the laser situation under control thanks to you guys! I really appreciate it. I got so many PM's! I found a seller that I prefer and when I get the laser I guess I can make a video and actually add to the community. Then after I buy this one I can start looking for another one lol to add to the collection!

I think you shouldn't buy from anybody trying to sell you... You should find a seller on your own, then check out their reputation and read the reputation comments. This will help prevent you from buying a crap laser or getting scammed
