I’m considering selling my bluray and I don’t have a meter for testing so I’m concerned about ripping someone off since I didn’t build it. It was advertised as 400mw and I have no reason to doubt it, but I could use some opinions. The only way I have of judging it is to look at it’s burn time on a thin style cd case. Can anyone guestimate a power range based on this video? YouTube - P1000318.MOV

Very simply... no I can't...

If there was an easy free way of testing Laser Beam energy it would
probably have already been designed...

If your Laser uses a Linear Current regulated driver... you could test
the current that your driver is pulling at the batteries.
Then if you know what type of LD that is in your host... you can do
some research and reading in the posted Threads to find what other
members got at your Current Draw using a Linear LD Driver and your
Laser Diode...
That may five you a rough Idea of your Laser's output... without a LPM.
