Yeah I was looking at his site and you would have to build the laser. The prebuilt 100mw phr is around $68 USD with batteries and charger.

Whoops, thought it was the other type of dilda. The focusing on that one most likely resembles the original red dilda, wobbly.

I figured the same thing really. Even if it turns out to be underpowered, the dilda host allows swapping both driver board and diode fairly easily. I bet the actual diode in there is PHR though, and anything more powerful would just make it a better deal :)

I can measure its power, but with the dx shipping times i don't dare to order it right now... i'll be away for xmas and newyears, and i dont wahnt it to up st some randeom neighbour, or even rreturned.

This is a much better deal than the DX one: because of the quality. IMHO it also looks a LOT better. O-like (if you ask them when you order it) will tell you the actual output. They test every laser with a lpm so that no one receives one that is less than the power they specified in their description. Go with this over the DX one and you won't be disappointed. I ordered one and will post a review on it when I get it.

hello, this is my first post here .

I reseve this lazer pointer from deal extreme and it's not working !
that's very unfortunate because the format is fine .
you see, the laser light is very small.
if you point to the wall you see nothing.
You must look straight into the lens for something to see. batteries are tested ok and polarity is also good

this is the chip I hope the photo is good

I also had 3 green lazers 2 ► 5mw and one 200mw those work fine
only that one 5mw is verry clear and the other not
