Hey everyone, been wanting to try to make a laser for a long time. Finally started buying stuff to try to make one. Here's the parts I have so far...
3100mAh Panasonic 18650 Battery (Hope to use this to power it)
405nm 100-300mw Laser Diode Driver Reverse Protection 0-400ma
12x30mm Aixiz laser module housing blank for 5.6mm LD
Case/Housing/Host for Laser Torch Style Focusable (Ebay laser host)
Goggles (ebay ones but say 405nm so should work)
I still need the actual Diode (I would like one that is 200-300mw 405nm, and not very expensive since its my first and if I fry it don't want to be very costly. Under $30 anyone recommend any?)
I am still confused a little on how it actually goes together. And test load, and how to know how many ma I am using and how many it needs to run strong yet have a decent life span
