Do you have any idea if those circles in the light-spot are normal? What are they? It's a GGW higher wavelength diode set at 155mA on flexdrive in a Pocket Mini host with copper heatsink
Ahh, I see now. My folds does that, only because the focusing lens is a mess. It looks like bacteria in a petri dish when I spin it lol. :crackup: Maybe that's the issue you're having, if the lens is acryllic I think it does that.

It is worth a try. I would just leave it alone. They are not enough to significantly effect your output. I would start with puffs of compressed air. DON'T BLOW on it with your mouth. You could just add spittle to the problem. If compressed air doesn't do it, use a lenspen. Anything beyond that is a risk.
