k thanks guys, ima order an AAA holder than and two 10440 batteries + a charger

i will hopefully receive my phr 803t sled this week, some solder so i can start my project

and my lm317 driver .... i accidentally broke the pins of the lm317 pin so i ordered a new one

so i will keep you guys updated as i look for a case of some sort to put everything in it

so yeah heres my driver, i dunno whats taking kendall so long its been almost 3 weeks and my phr still hasnt arrived

and im stilling waiting for my lithium batteries and an AAA battery holder which i ordered last week

i know theres hundreds of other users whos already built phrs but im really excited as hopefully i will successfully build my first laser =]

and i gotta find a way to saw the perf board

Do you have the current limiting resistor under the board?
I don't see any in the picture.

I'm still waiting on a phr from Willcorp, for about 6 months now if it makes you feel any better:whistle:

im guessing thats a 12 ohm resistor.
kendal has been on holidays. that may be why

yeah, but im sure he shipped the diode already, but anyways, im not in a hurry

yes its a 12 ohm resistor, and i tested it on a series of diodes and a 1 ohm resistor giving 98 mA

siick laser

thats a big host 0_0, how'd you manage to get a heatsink that big too

and yeah, i don't plan on shining it for more than 30 seconds

hmm 30 seconds may be stretching it.
that was my first build reallly. i have acces to a machine shoop :p. it has a 100% duty cycle retty much :).
it uses a my mini version of the DDL driver :p
