thats kind of disappointing since it was advertised as 200mw. i wish the chinese were a little more honest in the specs they give... its hard to find an honest seller like susie at o-like...

Yep, the box says green laser pointer and the warning label says 532nm. Weirdos.

Update: I have now completely dismantled this laser. It isn't as bad as I thought. I have modified the laser module and it is MUCH brighter. Probably closer to the 200mW mark. I have not been able to successfully reassemble the laser. I will have to wait till I get home and have the proper tools to finished this modification. Like many of these retarted chinese blu-ray lasers they case connection is made by a loose wire that dangles from the circuit board. The slightest little tug will ruin the connection. I am going to replace this wire and try to piece it all back together again. Once this is completed (assumming I don't kill the diode) I will post more results. These circuit boards are such pieces of crap. Anyway this is now a work in progress and no longer a working laser. Hopefully it will be soon.
