Nice! and the beam has better characteristics for burning that 445nm.
good job!

Impressive. You may want to reconsider the current though. 0.5A is not fatal to a diode, but it could decrease it's lifetime for some amount.

I am using 470mA driver in my 12X build, and I was told that maximum safe long life current is 425 mA. I'm still considering modification of the driver since I did testing and through quite some usage, I have not measured, not one miliwatt of power drop.

But you may not be as lucky.

Nice heatsink :)

It is done in semi-finished style :)

I think I'm lucky, as my 6x ran at 260 mA long time although other's diodes died at 180 mA very fast :)

perfect! This is a Dr.Lava boost driver? i see you are using a tabbed 18650 cell for power.
Lower the current on that diode. I have had too many 6x die from even slightly elevated current levels. !

No. It is my homemade boost driver. I use same driver (at higher current) for my 445.

I kill my 6x not long ago when I tried to extract it from Aizix module :(
Cool heatsink, first time I seen a tooth pic used like that
