Where, the only single mistake I ever saw you made is when you misspelled "Peace" once, in your signaturistic post ending.

Surprised is the correct spelling. And Dave's made a couple of other slip-ups in spellings too... :p

Anyhow, let's not derail the topic. I am very interested in what Bill has to say. I directed him on this thread. We should be hearing from him any moment now.

Yeah, I finally made it here. Long workday, dinner, now finally the computer, and my ISP has cured the service problems that were bedeviling my neighborhood. I like this laser, and you are correct, I don't have a 2 x AAA boost driver bluray pen. Closest I can come is a 2 x 10440 PHR with 1117 driver giving 115mW, the host is nowhere near as nice as the one I will evidently soon have. I will be looking forward to it. Nice pics and video, by the way.

Thanks for the compliments! You will judge the laser firsthand though, not only pics and video - they ain't doin' it justice!

I'll try to get it shipped monday morning, might take 2 or 3 weeks to reach you so I'd better get it on the way as soon as I can.

I'll definetly make one of these for myself - host is really something.

hey eudaimonium or anyone else...
i have this host and an old o-like driver.
i have no idea of the pinout of this driver :/ its the blu ray boost one...
lastly i have no idea how to mount the switch and spring?

Hey TTerbo, a better way to ask these questions is to create a new thread specifically addressing your question, and refer to the old thread with a link. That way you're not performing thread necromancy, and asking about a driver pin-out in a thread about someone's 100mW 405nm pen build.

Word of note ...

I did not use an O-like boost driver here, I made my own LM3410X boost driver which works differently a bit.
