I've always been interested in lasers; but years ago it was expensive hobby beyond my reach. I almost forgot about it and have slept through many years of of semiconductor laser development. Some day I found accidentally a youtube video about making "high" power laser with diode extracted from dvd-burner...
It's incredible how huge change has been made in laser engineering through all this years.
And that's how I started spending time and money to that little toys:yh:.
I'm on this forum for only several months but it was intense learning time.
Eventually I decided to register.
My main goal lately is perfect colimation to pinpoint very far objects.
Still searching for appropriate optics.
I wonder if it it possible at os with such "fat" diode like M140 :yh:.
