Official Intro

Hey guys, ive been lurking around here for a few weeks now looking into getting one or two real laser points so i figured i might as well introduce my self here officially.

Im 19, currently in college (sadly that also means poor) right now im having to put my computer building interests to a halt to try to be able to pay for a laser or two.
Planning to graduate with a degree in biochemistry (and go for a Ph.D.) for all those interested.

I used to buy those cheapy little multi pattern red lasers but they always broke.

Recently i saw some videos about burning lasers which led me to WL which i thought was awesome. I then saw the forums and was browsing around there and some one made a thread that said that WL forums sucks go to LPF or something like that and i did and now im here

Seems like a very interesting place and i Like it. Hopefully one day ill be able to afford some of the more expensive and interesting lasers.

Check out O-Like.com. They have a lot of "interesting" lasers that won't break the bank. I would suggest Rayfoss but right now they are kind of hit or miss, which is sad, because I thought their service was great when I got my first "interesting" laser. Be sure and read the stickies and all that gud stuff. Welcome to LPF!

Yeah the hobby is far from cheap. But on the other hand how many people do you know with a lightsaber?
