Hi,
I came here to see if it was practical to adapt a laser to my smaller CNC for wood burning. I don't want to cut anything at this time. Not only do I need some direction in parts, but safety - some links of what to read would help.
I'm retired (by choice of the economy) and have been using the CNC to cut wood signs and stuff for some time. My work life was primarily in mechanical engineering for the automotive industry. I have some background in bread boarding electrical/electronics. Actually, I have made a couple things with LEDs.
Hope to learn a bunch and maybe some of your language.
Steve.
