My First Laser

Hello. My name is JP, and I'm a new member. I got interested in lasers after stumbling across this site over a year ago. I spent 2 month reading the old posts, then I joined in November. I decided on a blue 445nm laser, and I contacted Blord last year. After quite a few months of mulling it over, learning about safety concerns and weighing the pros and cons, I made a purchase from him earlier this week. I bought his 2.4+ Watt 445nm laser in 501B casing , G2 lens and the bigger 9mm diode. I also paid for two 18350 batteries and charger, Safety goggles, Holster and the Larger diameter focus adapter. I followed links from other old posts and bought an additional set of Eagle Pair safety glasses from survivallaser.com (as I expect to have witnesses to the cool new laser who will also need eye protection). All of your old posts really helped me in making a great decision to buy the right laser, from the right guy (Blord) and to drill into my head how important the safety aspect is. I also sent in a small donation to the LPR forum this week, my way of saying "thank you" for having this resource, this site... I appreciate it. When my purchase arrives, I will post some picts!
