Ok, so not quite. I'm more of a casual fan than anything else, and I've kinda been out of it for awhile. Lately though, I've noticed that there have been some interesting advancements in the laser world, namely somewhat affordable blues and yellows, and the out-of-left-field unexpected arrival of what I call "blacklight lasers", the 405nm violet beams. They are singlehandedly what got me back into this hobby, I simply have to have one. I also intend to finish my collection of all the colors soon.

I just wanted to say hi and that I look forward to continuing to learn from the amazing wealth of knowledge gathered here.

Re: I r the ubar n00b

you're missing 488 nm argon ion... :p
where are you getting this 405 BluRay laser? Are you building it yourself?
Welcome!

And please consider - at least for the 473 - getting a RPL- Blue, for the extra money you get loads more power! Like 40mW!

But at least for the 593.5nm yellow, I think CNI is the only option aside from the Techlasers Crossfire.
