Hey folkes, been skulking in the shadows the past few days just having a good read and stuff. Bought an Ebay greenie for $5 ish and wanted something more powerful so decided to do some reaserch and came upon this forum, still undecided what to get but I guess you'll see my post floating around :)

Welcome fellow islander! :wave: Good to have you aboard and good to see you've been having a read around. Check the stickies too as these have the general basics and FAQ's covered. If you fancy taking on a home build then check my sig for a basic build guide. You have to do some work with the searching out of parts but that was deliberate to help get used to the site but if you get really stuck then just drop me a PM. ;)

For a quick direction to a UK based webstore, (as you mention you're looking), try Odicforce.com. Great guy and the prices ain't bad either, oh and he's not in China! :shhh:

Hello from North London.

We may not be the Land of the Free but at least we can still import high power lasers ;-)

Well I have another idea (Though this should be in the B/S/T section)
We get our own B/S/T section going, I buy typical 'new wish' laser pens an other parts 'en masse' for my friends and can get a few good deals with some of the e-bay sellers, I wouldn't mind being a small depo for the UK members here. What's every one think?

to be honest with you, i think that it will be a waste of time & money, no one wants 5mW red/green/violet laser pens at the moment it seems.. the 445nm craze has taken over...
