Hi all, Newb here

Hi, I'm a Pharmacy student in Boston and I recently bought a few ps3 trays off ebay and kinda stumbled across this forum while looking up schematics for a current regulator for these diodes. Started floating around the forum for a few days. Great forum! i like all the informations i see on here.

I have some experience with electronics cuz i used to make headphone amps and DACs in my spare time, and i thought it's time to try another hobby. anyways, thank you all again for such a great community.

oh, and by the way, any tips for a newby b4 he burns his eyes out with his new blu-ray laser?

could you build a dac that outputs in the range of 0-5 volts instead of the standard wich is like 0-2.5 or something

i actually have no idea.. the DAC i build was not designed by me, I just used the schematic and parts list and assembled it. the only voltage related thing I know about it is that it runs on the 5v from usb a regulated to 3.3v
