So here's my story..
Something possessed me to stay awake all night watching videos of laser pointers on YouTube, comparing prices in different stores and reading reviews on forums. I got tired of it at around 7 am over here, so I summed it all up, made up my mind and ordered a new laser pointer to still my unexplainable sudden needs and finally get some sleep!
It's pretty fascinating how you can go from totally bored to hypnotized in a few hours...
Anyway, I have this no-name greenie I got from China almost 4 years ago. Don't know the specs but guessing it's between 50 and 100 mW... probably more like 50 mW. (I'll see if I can find the spec paper later...) And it's cool and all, you know, at least in the beginning. Apparently I left it in a drawer for more than half of its life so far... But yeah, it was time for an upgrade since you always think you need something better.
So after my intense and unprofessional research I ended up placing and order for the O-Like 400mW (350 mW) green laser torch. It simply seemed like a well-worth choice for me and I wanted one that took the 18650 type batteries and didn't have keys or pins for security. Now I'll just have to pray to our ancient extinguished Nordic gods that the package will be delivered without any fuzz regarding customs or tax. When I get my hands on it I will post my thoughts, and also take a couple of shots comparing it to my old laser pointer to demonstrate the brightness in a fair way.
