Hello everyone my name is Aaron. I love to tinker with stuff and have way to many hobbies and as it appears I have just found another.

I do the desert/sand dunes thing and big into atv's and buggies. Very mechanical stuff. Also I vape and make my own fluid and that is how I stumbled upon DTR's 22mm adapter for mods.

Decided to start out and got some cheapie lasers and couldn't hold myself back from ordering a pre assembled 22mm adapter with 2w 445nm, g2 lens and all that. Seems like it would be easier to have one and then later on be able to pull a working laser apart and learn to build them possibly.
Have to put a shout out to DTR here as it was in my hand within 2 days of ordering which is blazing fast.

Also into flashlights and whatnot but have yet to mod anything really.

Going to attempt to add some pics but I'm on a phone so bear with me. The IMG tags seem way to long but if it works I'll post more after. Thanks for having me everyone =).

Me and my dad actually build laminate tops. Two years ago we built the tops for the marvel booth for them to sign autographs at. My sister has taken my 5yo son but I have yet to get to go unfortunately. Thanks for the kind words. Getting to dig out all my old mechanical mods has been pretty fun. Also have an Nzonic mod on the way as I didn't know the nemesis in first picture would accommodate two 18350 batteries.

Hi A,
Very nice intro well done buddy and welcome to LPF, I've done lots of mech mods but my favorite is a side firing poldiac vape mod i did and i also did a tesla build and a few others . Nice job by the way on yours looks sweet great pics to keep the good work hope to see more soon.

Hey Rich, Thanks man. If you've posted pics here of your poldiac and tesla I'm pretty sure I've seen it when reading hundreds of pages here at lpf, very nice setup and I love the side fire. Wanted a poldiac way back when they were highly sought after. Kinda scared of having no lock on it though.

You just have to be care full thats all. But they are an awesome host for the 22mm modules.
I have 4 modules sitting here for a while now . 2 of them are from rebuilds when i got bored and had nothing else to do. I'll put something in the very soon . Working on my Modded 2-cell mag light build with a NUB44 diode / powered by 2-32650's .Should be done this morning..

The maglight builds probably cool pretty decent because the size huh? Also how do you charge 32xxx batteries, can't picture them fitting in a normal charger. Also is there any way to fit 2 18350s in the poldiac?

Hi i just posted the mag light build in the blue color lasers section.
Yes you can fit 2-18350's but the tail cap won't screw home but enough to hold tight and contact. Give it a try i do it in my poldiac with a PLTB 450B diode set to 1.8A ..or try 2-16340's
great beam shot to night time shots are the best.

Ya i was admiring your maglight build and was going to post in there, but then kids happened haha. Is the pltb 450 a single mode diode? It doesn't say. I really like the idea of the idea of the nubm07e diode for a future build bit it's pretty similar to 445nm. Green would be my next choice except it's gonna be a while of saving for just the diode. Might have to pick up a poldiac. =) thanks rich.

The NUB07E 465nm can reach 470nm if ran high enough, i have that diode and it's a great choice of WL you will love it. The PLTB450B is a single mode diode That can hit up to 2+W's in some cases it's a 450nm diode, very comparable to the M140/455nm diode . Both are great diodes. Yes the Poldiac is an awesome side fire mech mod feels good in your hand and a natural feel for the thumb button , instead of bottom fire models.

Thanks hakzaw. Changed profile. Any pro tips on getting smaller images from photobucket on a phone? As you can imagine i usually just copy the img tags from there and paste as im not on a computer at night.:D
