Hello Everyone

Hello everyone, I am a senior in high school and live in the eastern US. I started looking at this forum because I have had an interest in lasers for quite some time, and for that matter anything to do with electronics. I still find it incredible that my components and builds produce something wonderful.

While I was looking through however, my attention shifted from buying one using the advice of this forum to actually creating one. So, hello everyone, and if anyone has advice for a good place to start I would be quite appreciative as the stickied build guide has been dropped.

This whole forum is a great place to start lol. But if i were you id start by building cheap just so you get used to what you are doing.

Yes, I hope to start simply, after simply skimming through the forums I have seen some lasers that intimidate me. I realized that such lasers were used for medicine and science however I find it somewhat difficult to believe that such powerful lasers were so, at least going from what I have seen here, widely avaliable.
