Hello

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. This looks to be just what I need, (been wallowing in the online laser wilderness), and I'm looking forward to going through the information here. So thanks for having me. I've always loved Lasers and built a HENE don't remember the exact wavelength in 1991 or so. At that time the kit cost me $200 and came with a grab bag of random parts, tubes and such. Now I'm older and have free time so I'm getting back into the hobby. Going with the diode route this time to start and "am eager for my first build. Till then just playing with Chinese pointers and have one real unit on it's way. Been In love with high voltage toys since I was 13, but that's for another thread.

Before asking a question in a thread, be sure to do a search for it, it may have already been answered.

Also, get some safety goggles if you're going to be dealing with lasers!
