Hey everyone!
Short time lurker, first time poster here . I just got into the laser pointer hobby a couple months ago and so far this site has been a huge help for my DIY laser project as well as gave me new project ideas.

A little background info about me. While somewhat clueless about lasers in general, I was an x-ray technician for a SMD line that produced amplifiers for Toyota/Lexus and Mercedes Benz. IPC Class II/III solder certified. So small components and circuit boards are not a foreign sight to me.

I really hope to further my new found hobby here. It really seems like a great place to learn
