Hello everyone!

I've been checking this site out for a while now and finally decided to become a member. From what I've been able to gather from reading quite a few posts, you all seem to be a friendly bunch of very knowledgeable people, and that's great!

Anyways, I'm currently a student at a Toronto university. With my major being English, you can be safe in assuming I won't ever butcher the language to the extent that so many seem to on the internet... At least not purposely...

My range of interests is quite varied - to the point that my friends pretty much count me in to any plans they have without first telling me what it is that they're doing. To give you a few examples, I crave adrenaline and I am a solo-certified skydiver and a fairly experienced downhill biker, yet I also love sitting on the porch with a good book and a glass of Scotch (Ardbeg Uigeadail is by far my favourite). I love going to metal concerts (Mayhem Festival is simply amazing) yet I have over 500 classical songs on my phone. And of course, I love lasers.

At 21, I'm probably fairly young by most of your standards, but hey, mature 20-somethings do exist!

I think I've droned on long enough here, but I hope to get to know you all better on this forum!

Welcome to the forums! :)

Don't worry about your age, many members here aren't even 21. I'm 17 for example :D

WELCOME-- made a trip to Toronto a few years back and met a lot of very friendly folks-
Hope to get back someday--

We have a outstanding member here from there- one of the most awesome builders and has created some one-ofs including a RGB ( 7 color)handheld and a 7W 445- His YTube is 'tunedcavity' or it was- they may have changed the name but you can still find Joe if you go by that username--he started out here as 'wannaburn' a very long time ago. Now Joe uses JLSE (iirc)

British English all the way! We add u's after quite a few o's! Colour and favourite, for example! And no, I don't say "aboot", nor do I live in igloos (although I could have given how cold this winter was), nor do I ride a polar bear... Which does sound like a pretty badass thing to do...

That is very true... Although it may be possible to domesticate a polar bear!

I know that's not a polar bear, but if it worked on a grizzly, why not a polar bear?

Speaking of bears... Ever seen a shaved bear? They're terrifying... :undecided:
