Hi:

I have learned a great deal about laser lately reading this forum. First ordered a WL 447 nm 1W for $200 after reading the news because the deal seemed too good to pass up. After reading the WL forum for a while (waiting for shipment), found this one which is much better and more educational. Finally, cancelled the WL and orded a CNI from the GB. Then ordered a CNI 532 nm 300mW since it needed some company and a 200mW 635 mW from Rayfoss.

Maybe I am overdoing this hobby?

Am currently a CPA in private practice in San Francisco and looking to have some fun with the lasers when they arrive.

Thanks for your help.

:thanks:

First of all Welcome :)

You are just getting started with this hobby, congratulations. You're not overdoing anything, those are perfect first lasers.
I love using my lasers in the fog when I visit Frisco. You are going to have a blast, but make sure you are very careful with protecting your eyesight.
You need the correct safety glasses for each laser wavelength you are using.
You (hopefully) are getting Red colored laser safety glasses to protect you against the 532nm, and Green colored safety glasses to protect yourself against the 635/660nm laser light.
Have fun and most importantly, be safe.
