Hello everyone.
I've really enjoyed reading the nearly endless threads on modifying lasers, flashlights, toys. Anything and everything to play with LASER's.
My personal experience started with the simple HeNe laser and worked up to home made NdYAG flash pumped LASER's. If I could expose my real name (not...) I would point you to pictures I submitted to Sam's LASER FAQ.
Recently, I've been re-kindling my passion for lasers due to the availability of very powerful diodes. Good stuff! I'm amazed how efficient the newest generation of diodes are. But, I digress :-D.
Anyway, people like Jayrob have inspired me to do some toy hacking. I'm starting with the Star Trek (2009) phased pistol toy. Wish me luck!
