kind of lengthy intro,
my name is scott and Im from the Boston area. Ive actually been on this forum for a few weeks now just reading and learning and in the process have built a handheld red burner of which i will post in the red laser section when I get a chance to upload the pictures somewhere. Im not a noob to forums and forum etiquette so I dont have a lot of patience for people registering and immediately posting questions and comments when they can easily find the information they are looking for on there own.
Im also in the process of building a DIY LPM right now based on MarioMasters' but thats only half done and I'll still have to have it calibrated. Too bad Im not still in school because that was in his hometown and could walk it over to him.
a little about me: Im married or might as well be with a 3 month old son. My wife says I have too many projects; third gen camaro, Honda superhawk, 4 monitor forex trading station, small scale anodizing plus many electronics projects... but what does she know :na:

In the next week or so Im picking up a new toy :evil: a 7"X10" precision metal lathe which I plan on making handlebar ends and foot pegs for sportbikes as well as heatsinks for lasers and various other requested parts. like I said before I have a small scale anodizing set up and can do 8 different colors (havent messed with multicolor yet). and hopefully in the next couple months will be picking up a small CNC machine to do more complex parts.
again sorry for the lengthy introduction but I have to say I love this forum. There is an imense amount of information here as well as many great minds.
