Didn't I forget to introduce myself?

Obviously I didn't, so nevermind and here's some info about me.

My name is Konrad, I'm from Poland, my hobbies are things such like c++,php and mysql programming aswell as lasers.
I did several lasers, mostly from DVD RW's (which I believe I had about 60, propably half of them or more destroyed by max current testing), PHR's and some homemade green DPSS lasers (low powered, like 20-30mW of green output).

And some info about my failed/future projects,

Future projects:

green DPSS laser using 1 or 2W 808nm pump diode (output will be propably around 150mW for 1W and 350~~ for 2W), it will be nice labby style.

Failed projects:

I've tried to lower wavelength of DVD RW diode by using TEC to -15 degrees, from 655 to propably less than 635~~ but never did, diode died because of water in air liquefied to diode structure (I believe so, but can't be sure).

so, I'm glad to be here ;)

Hey Konrad,

Good to see some more laser addicts introduced.

Btw I also cooled a DVD-RW diode with a phase change cooling system I used for overclocking back in the day. r-402a based, -50C with no load diode didn't die, however it didn't give the yellowish tint I was looking for...now that I think about it, I need to get my hands on a 635nm diode.
