Desert newbie

Hey All,

I've been "lurking" for the past few months. Unfortunately my account was messed up, and I wasn't able to post. I finally pinged c0ld last night so I could introduce myself.

I found LPF because of Kipkay's videos. Being the meticulous sort, I actually did some research before trying his projects. Obviously I never bothered after reading the forum for a few hours. Thus far I've built a Jayrob MXDL w/ a PHR (and burned it out), replaced it with a <75mW red, and some smaller labby's. I'm currently waiting for all the part to come in for a GGW.

Next up on the project list is a custom white fusion.

Glad you've been reading up on the forum. Lots of yummy info in there! And good luck with the RGV laser, it's quite a bit of work, but the result is a wonder to behold!

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you are off to a good start building lasers. The GGW will be a nice laser, post some pics when you are done. As you build more powerful lasers, please remember the need for appropriate eye protection and safe laser useage practices. If you got a sled, the GGW sled will have a nice red LD in there too.
