Hi all, I've finally registered today. I've spent hours and hours over the past week or so reading and researching.
I'm a 39 year old network administrator working for local government.
I'm formally educated as an EE, but I don't get NEARLY enough component-level tinkering done these days!
I had to buy a new 15 watt pencil iron, got some new flux - the pot I had was all dried up and crystallized - and had to put a new battery & fuse in my Fluke 79 DMM I've had since school.
I just finished my first laser build with a Sony 16x diode, Aixiz module, & rckstr driver from Stonetek - it rocks & I'm hooked!
