Hello.... I tryed to check the voltage of the driver...plugged in my mutimeter ...then turned on the RiverRock..what I got made me go o_0 hmm.....It went past 19v and I said to myself "nawwwww"...I put it to my tung and wow..that thing really hurts..but is still lights up the stock LED..Is is supposed to do that?.....I am afraid of plugging it into any diode....idk if it is normal .....((sorry for the big pic.))

that circuit is a boost converter. it increases voltage from the 2 AAA's and increases it. that's why it stings your tongue. However once you put a load across it, it decreases to an exceptable current and voltage for that cheap LED.
