Hi, I just bought a laser. It has an arc of ring around it.

It's not the outside lens, cuz when I rotate it, the arc stays still.

So I took the outlide lens of. And I noticed that when I push the button, it behaves well the very first second. And then it splits.

Before splitting:

One second later, after splitting:

I checked some posts and it's not matter of temperature. How can I fix this?

Ah yeah that's called mode hopping. DPSS lasers tend to do this. I think it's caused from improper crystal alignment but not exactly sure. I would contact the seller and get another one. Or you could keep it it's up to you. Everything is glued together so fixing it is out of the question.

Mode hopping can happen for many reasons such as misalignment, low battery power and temperature
