Hi all, I had a project where I binned a bunch of 505s for low-wavelength diodes. IMO, 502nm is pretty significantly different from 505nm and starts to get some blue in it.

These will be complete with a 12mm module, acrylic lens, and driver with leads pre-soldered. Pretty much ready to drop in a host. These are case negative. You can run them on a single lithium ion, 3.8v.

I have 5x 502nm diodes at $9/pc
And 2x 500.5nm diodes at $25/pc

+ $6 shipping to the US. International shipping might be a bit higher.

Spectro, all diodes are within +/-0.5nm

Edit: More info. These are adapted 1.8mm frame diodes press fit into some brass heatsink which is press fit into a drilled out 12mm module. The solder points from the diode to the driver are also epoxied over. As such, I cannot sell these as the bare diodes, only as complete modules.

Thats a great deal considering the headache it would have been trying to adapt those style diodes to a module. This wavelength is gorgeous too, a very rich emerald color.

30mW, your typical 505nm. There is a pot on the driver, though if you push them harder that will drive the wavelength up and defeat the purpose of these bins.

Great offer Zach. I always put mine in copper modules and heat sink those well to keep them from overheating, thus keeping the wavelength steady. My 502 nm one was measured after full assembly and holds steady at 502 nm. ;)

Giving this a bump to keep it in the recent posts at the bottom of the home page - also open to offers, I have more than I'll ever use.

Also open to selling the remaining lucky bin I have @500nm for $25+shipping.

Do you have any pictures of these compared to 473, 488, 530, 532, or any combination of them? Thinking I might have to get one.

Didn't before but do now.

473/488/502/505/520. Camera can only do so well, so I threw on the colors as I see them at the top.

And 532/502 specirfically

And 502/505 as well to show even the camera picks up a difference:

IMO, 520 to 505 is as different as 505 to 502

Bump! I have 5 of the 502's left still.

I am also finished with the bins, and I have 2 of the more desirable 500.5nm diodes left. Asking $25/pc on those.
