An entertaining piece from 52 years ago about an early exhibit of lasers and holograms in Chicago caught my eye this morning. There was no picture in this 1970 issue of The Laser Weekly newsletter. I'm guessing the laser was a pulsed ruby to drill something, could've been a little more sinister, but now I'm lookin' to find out. Also no such worries at the currently running "Vintage Lasers & Holograms" exhibit in Tempe, AZ.
