Yeah a quick tap on the brakes without braking usually gets tailgaters
off my tail. That is very rare since I'm probably driving near the max
speed limit and sightly quicker than others.

Yeah, that used to be me too. Now that I'm older I tend to stick to the speed limit and never tailgate or even come close. But, I hear you.
